BIO
Hannah Wilkerson is a singer, dancer, and actor.
She is currently a sophomore at Wright State University pursuing her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Musical Theatre.
Along with finishing her high school career, she trained with The Broadway Collective, a rigorous musical theatre academy, where some of her coaches include JJ Niemann (Choreographer), Melvin Logan (Director, Actor), and Robert Hartwell (Broadway Collective Founder & CEO). She also trains with Actors Therapy, with award-winning mentors Lindsay Mendez (Tony Award-winning Actress & Singer) and Ryan Scott Oliver (Composer, Lyricist).
Hannah has played a wide range of roles, from Ariel Moore in Footloose, to Elsa Schraeder in The Sound of Music, and even Terk in Tarzan.
She has been selected seven consecutive years for Louisiana All-State Choir (LAACDA). She has placed two years in a row at NATS in both the Southern and Mid-South regions. She has also received scholarships for Broadway Theater Connection held annually at the New Orleans Center for Creative Arts.
She is inspired and influenced by a variety of performers and influencers, such as James Monroe Iglehart, Sutton Foster, Lindsay Mendez, and Barrett Wilbert Weed.
She studies voice with both Ashley Leasure and Terry Patrick-Harris. She has 10+ years of dance training, with tap being her all-time favorite! When she’s not rehearsing or performing, you can usually find her spending quality time with her friends, having impromptu photoshoots, or eating sushi or pasta!
